Cancellation Policy
At Mirakalyves Sea View, we understand that unexpected situations can arise that may prevent a guest from completing their stay. This Emergency Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations are handled when unforeseen events occur after a booking is made and make it impossible, unsafe, or illegal to travel or stay at the property. In such cases, this policy will take precedence over the standard cancellation terms associated with the reservation.
If a guest is affected by a qualifying emergency event, they may request to cancel their reservation and may be eligible for a refund, travel credit, or alternative arrangement depending on the nature and timing of the situation. Likewise, if we as hosts are unable to honor a reservation due to a qualifying event, we may cancel the booking without penalty and will work with guests to provide a suitable resolution.
This policy applies only to events that occur after the booking has been confirmed, were not foreseeable at the time of booking, and directly prevent or legally prohibit the completion of the stay. Such events may include sudden changes to government travel requirements that prevent entry to the destination, official government-declared emergencies such as pandemics or public health crises, travel bans or restrictions that prevent reaching or staying at the property, acts of war, civil unrest, terrorism, or similar hostilities, as well as natural disasters and severe events such as earthquakes, floods, fires, or major utility failures that make the property unsafe or inaccessible.
Situations that are not covered under this policy include personal circumstances such as illness, injury, changes in personal plans, work obligations, transportation disruptions, missed flights, or cancellations of events for which the stay was booked. In such cases, the standard cancellation policy attached to the reservation will apply and determine any refund amount.
If a guest believes their situation qualifies under this Emergency Cancellation Policy, they should contact Mirakalyves Sea View as soon as possible and provide relevant documentation showing how the event has impacted their ability to travel or stay. Once reviewed and confirmed, we will guide the guest through the cancellation process and inform them of the refund or credit options available.
Refunds approved under this policy are processed promptly after cancellation confirmation. In most cases, the refunded amount will appear in the original payment method within 3 to 5 business days, although in some cases it may take up to 15 days depending on the payment provider and country of origin. International transactions may take longer depending on banking procedures.
This Emergency Cancellation Policy applies to all reservations with check-in dates on or after the date this policy is published. Mirakalyves Sea View reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time to reflect operational or legal requirements.
If you have any questions regarding this policy or need assistance with a reservation, please contact Mirakalyves Sea View directly using the contact information provided on our website.
